The free “Event Search” widget, being subsidized by corporate and association sponsors, gives every pilot a 24/7 reason to visit your FBO website. It displays all FAASTeam Safety Seminars in your area, on a real-time basis. Pilots simply enter their zip code and decide how wide a radius to search. It brings them back to your web page regularly, to find the most current seminar listings.
The widget is being offered free by the Advocates for Aviation Safety Foundation (AFASF), a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the FAASTeam Safety Seminars. Take a look for yourself. Click here to see an example on the Three Wing FBO website, in Stratford, CT; the widget is located on the bottom right of their home page. Enter your zip code (or any zip code), specify how wide a radius to search, from 25 to 100 miles, and please pay special attention to the header displayed on the results page.
